Crothersville’s boys basketball team led by six points at halftime and nine midway through the third quarter of Tuesday’s season-opener.

Visiting Columbus Christian converted a four-point play in the fourth quarter to go up two points, and Crothersville coach Greg Kilgore said his team didn’t recover and lost 68-63.

Gene Hodge and Brian Money each scored 22 points for the Tigers (0-1).
