SCOTTSBURG

Crothersville shot 182 and placed second in the final match of the regular season on Thursday at Westwood Golf Course. Scottsburg won with 158, and Austin was third with 224.

Scottsburg's Luke Taylor was medalist with 1-over 36.

Brian Money led Crothersville with 44, while Evan Petty and Tyler Luedeman had 45s, and the Tigers' only senior, Patrick Sweazy, shot 48 on Senior Night.

"It was his last match at our course as a Crothersville Tiger," Tigers coach Andy Smith said of Sweazy. "He will really be missed next year, but I have a handful of incoming freshmen that have expressed an interest in golf and a strong group returning, so that will be good for the program."

The Tigers will compete in sectional on May 31 at the Indiana University Golf Course in Bloomington.
