Crothersville’s boys basketball team trailed for most of Tuesday’s Southern Athletic Conference home game against South Central.
Tigers senior starter Gene Hodge then went down with an injury early in the fourth quarter with his team down eight points. But Crothersville was sparked by its bench, and the Tigers rallied for a 51-48 victory.
Conner Adams knocked down a pair of 3-pointers, and then Tyler Luedeman stole an inbounds pass and scored to tie the game and put the momentum in the Tigers’ favor.
Brian Money led all scorers with 21 points, while Grayson Barnes had a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds for Crothersville (9-7, 3-1 SAC).
Alex Goforth led South Central (3-15, 0-4) with 14 points.
