CROTHERSVILLE

Edinburgh’s track and field teams used depth to defeat Crothersville in Monday’s dual meet.

The Edinburgh boys won eight events, including two relays, to outscore the Tigers 67-49. The Edinburgh girls had an 8-7 advantage in firsts and also won two relays to go home with a 61-42 win.

The Crothersville boys were led by seniors Caleb Minton, Ean Lakins and Jarrod Royalty. Minton won the 1,600 in 5:38 and the 3,200 in 14:03; Lakins won the 100 in 12.25 and the 400 in 1:02; and Royalty won the 110 hurdles in 17.02 and the 300 hurdles in 46.28.
