The Seymour Police Department has added two officers to its ranks.

Trevor Giles, 23, and Brandon Polbito, 22, both of Seymour, were sworn in by Mayor Craig Luedeman during a recent Board of Public Works and Safety meeting.

Their hiring brings the department to a full force of 40 officers, Police Chief Bill Abbott said.
