Traffic stop ends in arrests



Two people were arrested after syringes and methamphetamine were discovered during a Monday night traffic stop, police said.

Joshua L. Caudill, 40, 649 S. Vine St., Seymour, was arrested for parole violations and false informing after his vehicle was pulled over near downtown Columbus, according to police spokesman Sgt. Matt Harris.

His passenger, identified as Peggy D. Cook, 34, 2071 Ohio St., Columbus, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, illegal possession of a syringe and possession of drug paraphernalia, a police news release stated.
