Training equips volunteers, emergency workers

Meteorologist Dave Tucek often uses his 33 years of expertise to offer storm spotter training sessions around Indiana, including in Jackson County.

On behalf of the National Weather Service out of Indianapolis, he recently conducted a training session for volunteers, emergency personnel and the general public at MainSource Bank’s conference room in Seymour.

“We have 39 counties that we serve within central Indiana, and I usually arrange them early on in the year,” Tucek said.
