A 20-year-old North Vernon man accused of robbing a bank on Seymour's east side told police he was mad at the government and decided to rob the bank to see if he could, according to court records.

Wayne Paul Spaulding, 3658 Atkinson Circle, is suspected of robbing River Valley Financial Bank, 1725 E. Tipton St., on July 3. He was arrested several hours after the incident.
