Trinity Lutheran scores win against Milan at home

Over the years, the Trinity Lutheran softball team has struggled against Milan.

But Monday night at home, the Cougars finally broke through against the Indians, scoring a 5-3 win.

“I think this is a nice win,” Cougars coach Tom Barker said. “The girls battled all the way through, but we were not as sharp tonight as we have been in the past. Defense was not too bad as we had one inning where they hit the ball and got rattled, but they gained their composure and came back.
