As Kyra Klosterman looks back on her athletic career at Trinity Lutheran High School, her teammates will be at the top of her list of memories.
“For me, I’ll always remember my teammates and all the memories I made there, and the coaches, and definitely going to state (in volleyball),” she said. “That’s huge. It was an experience of a lifetime. All the sectional trophies were nice. I plan to have another one, in basketball, to add to the list.”
Klosterman is completing her second season as a starting guard in basketball.
“I don’t like to shoot outside, but the coach is always telling me, ‘You’ve got to shoot the ball,’” Klosterman said. “Personally, I would rather drive in the lane, even if the person is bigger than me.”
Klosterman likes when the Cougars press on defense.
