With the sun and heat bearing down Saturday afternoon, Trinity Lutheran and LaVille battled on the gridiron.
Both teams got through the elements, and LaVille left Seymour with a 45-12 win.
In the first quarter on Trinity’s first possession, Jacob Harless found the end zone from 27 yards out for a 6-0 lead.
LaVille received good field position on its first possession and settled for a 23-yard field goal by Cameron Gurtner at the 8:13 mark.
