Laken Waskom didn’t have one problem knocking out girls bigger or older.
Before a game of knockout at the end of Tuesday’s session of girls basketball camp at Trinity Lutheran High School, head coach Mike Lang predicted Waskom would win. He apparently saw her knocking down shots during other drills at camp.
One by one, the soon-to-be sixth-grader knocked out a mixture of high school players and girls her own age. She was the last one standing. She was the knockout winner.
