Trinity student earns Lilly scholarship

A Jackson County student has been selected as the recipient of a full-tuition, four-year scholarship as the Community Foundation of Jackson County’s 2013 Lilly Endowment Community Scholar.

Jacquelyn Hackman was selected from a group of applicants from all five high schools in Jackson County, according to a news release from the foundation.

Hackman, a senior at Trinity Lutheran High School, will receive full tuition to the Indiana college of her choice and a $900 yearly stipend for required books and equipment.
