The Trinity Lutheran girls won the final event — 1,600-meter relay — to edge host Southwestern (Shelby) 56-52, while Greenwood Christian was third with 31 points. Trinity made it a sweep by winning the boys meet with 96 points, followed by Howe with 62, Southwestern with 53 and Greenwood Christian with 12.

Angi Bergstedt broke her own school record in winning the 200 in 27.26, and she helped the 400 relay team place first. Brooke Thompson and Allison Trimpe went 1-2 in the shot put, while Brittaney VonDielingen won the 400.

For the Trinity boys, Mark Pinnow won both hurdle races; Henry Welker and Matthew Zarick went 1-2 in the 400; Luke Onken and Iisakki Saari went 1-2 in the 3,200; and Matthew Pinnow won the 800. The Cougars also won the 1,600 and 3,200 relays.
