Trio of Columbus residents arrested after traffic stop

A traffic stop Saturday evening in Seymour led to the arrest of three Bartholomew County residents on drug-related charges.

Charles F. Miller, 31, Terry L. Jones, 24, and Keith M. Cherry, 25, all of Columbus, face charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic syringe, visiting a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia, according to a news release from Seymour Police Department.

Miller faces additional charges of obstruction of justice and false informing. Jones faces an additional charge of operating while never having received a driver’s license. Cherry faces an escape charge because he was wearing a home detention monitor at the time of his arrest Saturday, police said.
