Trio shares Owls softball MVP award

Coach Brian Personett said his Seymour High School softball team didn’t play nearly as well this spring if Devon Joray, Gemma Challies or Emily Bobb were missing from the lineup.

He said all three played key roles for the Owls, and he named them co-most valuable players during the team’s awards program Tuesday night in the school cafeteria.

Challies and Joray are seniors, and Bobb is a junior. Challies pitched and played in the outfield, Joray played second base and Bobb played third base.
