Two Jackson County residents face charges of manufacturing methamphetamine after an incident Wednesday in Seymour.

Mark Allen Combs, 38, and his girlfriend, Amelia Dawn Lewis, 28, both of Seymour, were arrested as part of an investigation that began with the discovery of a bag containing items used to make meth, Detective Brian Moore said.

A man who lives in the 800 block of North O’Brien Street found the bag and called police, Moore said.

Combs, who was carrying a second bag, left a home in the block with Lewis, Moore said.
