Beta Mu chapter president Alicia Reedy and member Joyce McKinney attended the Psi Iota Xi national convention June 21 and 22 in Fort Wayne.
Psi Iota Xi meets annually to vote on charitable contributions to be distributed nationally, according to a news release from the Beta Mu chapter, which is based in Brownstown. Two years ago, Psi Iota Xi established a long-term project that will result in donations of more than $100,000 to the Intensive Stuttering Clinic at the University of Toledo.
The theme for the convention was “Psi Iota Xi on Parade,” and the attendees celebrated the accomplishments of this charitable organization led by national president Marcia Mohre.
