United Way spreading ‘Hope’

Jackson County United Way’s efforts to raise $745,000 for 2015 will begin Friday at the Senior Citizens Center in Brownstown.

This year’s drive, called “Hope for Our County Campaign,” will continue with kickoff events in Seymour on Saturday and Medora on Tuesday. Each event is a way for the public to discover and support some of the things United Way and its 20 partner agencies are accomplishing in the community.

Donations from individuals and businesses totaled $698,000 for this year.
