Jackson County Drug-Free Council will again collect unwanted drugs in conjunction with Seymour Police Department at Girls’ Morning Out on Oct. 27.
Unwanted drugs will be collected from 8 a.m. to noon at Seymour-Jackson Elementary School.
Unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medicine in its original container may be taken to the Drug-Free Council’s collection booth for proper disposal by Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.
“Keeping prescription and over-the-counter medicines out of the environment is an important way to protect our community and prevent crime,” Brenda Turner of the drug-free council said.
