Jackson County Water Utility canceled a boil water advisory for customers in the west central part of Jackson County.
The advisory was the result of an outage that occurred Tuesday in the Norman and Zelma areas, according to a news release from the Brownstown-based utility.
"Water testing has been completed, showing no evidence of bacteria and that the water is safe for consumption," utility manager Darrel Baker said Friday afternoon.
