Valeo plant fire: Company buys out business partner

Valeo Sylvania has a new name — and now just one owner.

France-based Valeo has purchased Osram’s 50 percent stake in their partnership that has operated as Valeo Sylvania. Osram is a subsidiary of German-based Siemens.
