Zach Spicer, The Tribune/ Seymour High School volleyball coach Angie Lucas, center, is joined by seniors Jessica Lucas, left, and Hayden Dailey after she was inducted into the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association Volleyball Hall of Fame during Sunday's Indiana Volleyball All-Star Classic. Dailey and Jessica Lucas played for the South Class 3A/4A Seniors team.

Seymour High School volleyball coach Angie Lucas recently received a phone call from Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association volleyball committee chairman Matt Curts.

“The first thing he said was, ‘Coach, are you sitting down?’” Lucas said. “I thought, ‘Oh no, what’s going on? What do we have to fix?’”

It turns out the only thing she will have to fix is a place for the ICGSA Volleyball Hall of Fame plaque she received Sunday during the annual Indiana All-Star Volleyball Classic at Perry Meridian High School in Indianapolis.
