The sister of a 23-year-old Seymour woman killed by her on-again, off-again boyfriend this past May wants to establish a nonprofit organization to raise awareness about domestic violence.

“It will be called the Tabitha Brock Domestic Violence Outreach, and it will be open to anyone,” Nikki Allman said.

Allman’s sister, Tabitha Brock, was killed by Gerald Eugene Combs the night of May 11, 2012. Combs, who tried to cover up the death by staging an automobile accident and fire, pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and abuse of a corpse. He received a 24-year prison term in December in Jackson Circuit Court.
