Brownstown/Ewing Main Street is sponsoring a community festival, Artsfest, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 27 in Brownstown and Ewing followed by a performance “Catfish Moon” at 7:30 p.m. at Jackson County Community Theatre’s Royal-Off-the-Square Theatre.

The purpose of the festival is to give local artisans a chance to display their work while partnering with local merchants in Brownstown and Ewing, according to a news release from Brownstown/Ewing Main Street.

In addition to showcasing merchants and artisans, the organization wants Artsfest to focus on the history of the community.
