Meeting planned to discuss search for replacement

Jackson County’s visitor center director has resigned.

Tina Stark of Seymour submitted a letter of resignation to the visitors bureau board Wednesday outlining her intention to leave the post. She was hired in March 2004. Her last day will be Friday.

Board president Cindi Lucas of Seymour said the resignation took her and other board members by surprise. She said the board was putting no pressure on Stark.
