The Christian Academy boys basketball team’s tour of Jackson County made a stop in Crothersville on Tuesday night, and the Warriors ended with a 3-0 record after defeating the

Tigers 68-54.

They beat Medora on Friday and Trinity Lutheran on Monday.

The first four shots of the first quarter were of the 3-point variety as the Tigers had three and led 9-3 when Gene Hodge hit his second one at the 5:50 mark. After the Warriors scored the next four points, Brian Money drained a 3-pointer and Jimmy Needler added a basket for a 14-7 lead. The Tigers managed a 14-10 first-quarter lead.

Crothersville then took a 16-12 lead in the second quarter, but Christian Academy scored the next 16 points and never looked back. Jacob Davidson ended the Warriors’ scoring streak with a basket, and Christian Academy led 32-21 at halftime.
