Wildlife refuge starting program for preschoolers

Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge educators will start a Nature Time program for preschool children this month.

The program will debut at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 12 at the refuge visitor center.

The program will be about  90 minutes and will include stories, songs, crafts and hands-on activities relating to nature.

Nature Time programs will happen on a regular basis the second Wednesday morning of each month. Later programs are set for Jan. 9, Feb. 13, March 13 and April 10 of next year.

There is no fee or registration required, but an adult must stay on site during the class.
