Satan tries to tempt us to sin, and he wants us to believe his lies. These are his primary strategies in the war against our soul.
We’ve already explored temptation and the potentially resulting sin. Now let’s consider Satan’s lies. Jesus actually said that Satan is a liar and the father of lies. He loves to whisper things like, “If anybody knew about your sin, they wouldn’t love you anymore. You can’t tell anyone what you have done ... ever.” Believing his lies will lead to a life of misery.
