Winter wear: Harsh weather took toll on county streets

Jackson County residents will continue to feel the effects of this past winter in the coming weeks, not just in their wallets but anytime they venture out and encounter crumbling streets and roads.

One or two Jackson County roads will have to be rebuilt, and several streets in Seymour have similar issues.

County highway superintendent Warren Martin discussed the issues surrounding County Road 600N in Hamilton Township during a recent commissioners meeting.
