Woman airlifted after accident



A 49-year-old woman was airlifted to a Louisville hospital Friday after a van driven by her husband crashed into an industrial electrical supply business northwest of North Vernon, police report.

Teresa Cooley of North Vernon sustained possible internal injuries in the wreck, reported to 911 dispatchers about 10:50 a.m. Friday at Watts Electric Inc., 5100 N. State Road 7, according to a news release from Sgt. Noel Houze.

Cooley was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck, said Houze, who is public information officer with the Versailles Post.
