Woman charged in drug dealing

Police used a sting operation to catch a Washington County woman suspected of dealing prescription medication on Tuesday in Brownstown.

Tricia A. Zink, 40, of Salem faces a Class C felony charge of dealing in a Schedule IV controlled substance and was being held at the Jackson County Jail without bond Thursday morning, pending her initial court hearing.

The arrest of Zink stems from an investigation that led to a drug arrest involving a different person, according to a news release from Detective Ben Rudolph with Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.
