Woman's passion blossoms in work as florist

Barbara Winslow was moving with her family from Maine to Arkansas nearly two decades ago when they stopped in the Seymour area to visit a family member.

They never made it to Arkansas.

“I stepped out of the vehicle and I just knew,” she said. “I knew this is where I needed to be.”

Winslow stuck with her gut and has lived in the area for 18 years, calling North Vernon home. She said her family took root as well, with two daughters, now 24 and 22 years old.

“My family is growing by leaps and bounds,” she said.
