Jackson County Center for Women’s Ministries Inc. will begin two new studies for the fall.
Registration and the introduction meeting for Tim Sledge’s book, “Moving Beyond Your Past,” will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
This study is aimed at helping participants take responsibility for their emotions, get out of co-dependent tendencies, develop vitality in their spiritual walk and move beyond hurt to joy.
Center director Deborah Ralston will facilitate this group.
Another afternoon group will be formed if three or more are interested.
Also offered 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning Sept. 11, will be Sledge’s “Making Peace With Your Past.”
“This study offers practical, biblically based guidance to lead participants to identify, understand and come to terms with the feelings and problems of growing up in a dysfunctional family,” Ralston said.
Both studies comprise 12 units.
For information or to register, call 523-8086. The center is at 104½ E. Second St. in Seymour.
It is a nondenominational ministry serving women ages 13 and older in Jackson and surrounding counties.
