Work started Monday on replacing the diamond where the CSX Transportation and Louisville & Indiana Railroad lines intersect in downtown Seymour.
The project includes replacing two crossings at Indianapolis and St. Louis avenues. They were closed Monday and won’t be reopened until Thursday night or Friday morning, Dave Fauke of CSX Transportation said.
The cost of the project is estimated at $80,000 to $120,000.
