Fresh off the spring season, local high school softball teams are still on the diamond.

A summer league was offered for the first time last year, and it went so well that coaches decided to do it again this year.

Jackson County teams Seymour and Brownstown Central are among those involved. For the month of June, they have played single games on Tuesdays and round robins on Thursdays.
