Jackson County Community Theatre will hold a Children’s Theatre Workshop at the Royal Off-the-Square Theatre, 121 W. Walnut St. in Brownstown from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. June 11-15.

The workshop is open to those who have completed third grade to those who have completed sixth grade. It will be directed by Kathy Ellis, a teacher with extensive theater experience. Theater games will familiarize students with stage craft, including characterization, improvisation, stage movement, makeup, props and costumes. Students will develop a scene to present on the last day of the workshop.
