Wreck leaves woman injured

A 32-year-old Jefferson County woman sustained possible life-threatening injuries in a one-vehicle wreck reported Monday morning in the Uniontown area of Jackson County, police said.

Kristy Barrett of Deputy was flown by helicopter to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis from Schneck Medical Center at Seymour, according to a news release from state Trooper Korry Clark.

Clark said Barrett was injured after the 1995 Honda passenger car she was driving north on County Road 1300 East near County Road 200 South left the road, traveled into a ditch and then overturned.
