Event set Oct. 23 at Franklin College

Details for an Indiana 9th District congressional debate at Franklin College have been worked out.

U.S. Rep. Todd Young, R-Ind., and his Democratic opponent, Shelli Yoder, have agreed to debate at the college Oct. 23.

The candidates, both residents of Bloomington, also plan to debate in Harrison County, but the date for that event has yet to be determined.

Both campaigns said it was important to have a debate on a college campus.
