Youth centers, camp offer winter break activities aimed at children

Area schools started their winter break with the end of the classes on Friday afternoon, starting a two-week vacation.

Children looking for something do before Christmas Day or afterward, once boredom sets in, will have some local options, including holiday hours at youth centers and a camp at Southern Indiana Center for the Arts.

Boys & Girls Club of Seymour will offer a Christmas party for its members from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Kingspin Starlite Bowl at Freeman Field.
