Jackson County Board of Zoning Appeals will consider a rural Seymour man’s request for a variance for setback requirements during a meeting 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the courthouse annex in Brownstown.
Joe McDermid of 1886 W. State Road 58 in Pershing Township is seeking to vary from a county setback requirement of 90 feet from a state highway to 40 feet to allow for the construction of a pole barn.
Board meetings are open to the public and press.
