Seymour’s Johnson selected to IFD Prime Time 25

Owls multi-sport athlete in Jaylan Johnson receieved some serious recongnition from the Indiana Football Digest on Sunday evening. Johnson was attending the Griddy Awards in Indianapolis at the Farm Bureau Colts Complex, the purpose for the Griddy’s is to honor coaches and players for many reasons.

The junior was selected as an IFD Prime Time 25 for the upcoming season. The Prime Time 25 consists of the top players going into their senior seasons, and Johnson will be featured on the 2024 issue of the Indiana Football Digest in the fall.

The Griddy’s were first held in 2007. Over 400 guests gather together every year to recognize the best players, coaches, and media representatives in Indiana high school football. The award recipients are chosen by a panel of media and coaches who review over 18,000 varsity players.
